Ingredients:
1 sugar cookie tube
1/2 cup of confectioners sugar
1 brick of cream cheese
1 container of plain Greek yogurt (I used this instead of sour cream)
1 1/2 teaspoons of vanilla
Fruit of choice - I used strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and kiwi
Directions:
Using a pizza sheet or cookie tray, spread the cookie dough evenly on tray. Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
Mix cream cheese, yogurt, sugar and vanilla together until well blended. Spread evenly on cooled cookie.
Place cut fruit on top of cheese topping.
Cut cookie and serve. I cut into pizza/pie slices
I've seen this a few times since on the internet over the weekend so it must be a hit. It looks delicious! A tropical one would probably be great too, with pineapple, mango, and maybe some fresh coconut. Thanks for the recipe, I will be making this!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea on making it tropical. That sounds amazing Crystal!
ReplyDeleteUgh that picture looks amazing! My mother has been making a variation of the fruit pizza since I was young and it is seriously one of my favorite things. She makes hers with a graham cracker crust, great call on introducing people to a delicious recipe!
ReplyDeleteWow, I got hungry just reading the post; great recipe and fantastic visuals. Copied the recipe to word, printed it and gave it to the misses. Thank You!
